Anti-Corruption Establishment Director Muzaffar Khan Sial on Wednesday ordered cases against 10 officials, including three policemen and two patwaris.
Inspector Masood Ahmad was accused of receiving Rs 4,000 as bribe. Circle Officer Rana Naeem had conducted an inquiry. Circle Officer Rana Nawaz conducted an inquiry against SI Zahid Ali and found him guilty of receiving Rs 300,000 as bribe.
Constable Muhammad Rafiq had received Rs 100,000 as bribe, while Circle Officer Rana Naeem had conducted the inquiry against him. Patwari M Nawaz was found guilty of tampering with the record. ACE Deputy Director Ilyas Gill had conducted an inquiry. Patwari Ansar Mehmood had issued bogus copies of the land record after receiving bribe. Assistant Director Aitzaz Munir had conducted the inquiry into the allegations against the official. Union Council Secretary Hassan Zulqarnain was found guilty of receiving Rs 50,000 as bribe for issuing fake copies of a certificate. DHQ Hospital Ward Boys Ansar Mehmood, Rashid and two others were found guilty of issuing fake medico-legal certificates.
