A real estate developer has been sentenced to two years in prison for his role in a bribery scheme involving former Prince George’s County Executive Jack Johnson.
Sixty-four-year-old Daniel Colton was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Greenbelt.
Colton was involved in a project around the Greenbelt Metro station. Court documents show he and other co-conspirators gave more than $400,000 in cash and gifts to public officials, including James Johnson, the former county housing director.
Colton previously served three years in federal prison for conspiracy and bank fraud.
