Two former San Antonio Independent School District employees are accused of taking bribes.
According to the San Antonio Express News, 61-year-old Cedric Petersen and 33-year-old Brian Harris have been indicted in Illinois on a charge of federal program bribery.
Petersen was once an assistant principal and coordinator for a federal tutoring program at Fox Tech High School.
Harris is a former tutoring coordinator at Sam Houston High.
The bribes apparently came from education companies accused of fraudulently pulling in more than $33 million from hundreds of school districts across the country.
Both men left SAISD in 2011. The crimes allegedly took place from 2008 to 2010.
